Prednisolone : Mécanisme d'action
Les glucocorticoïdes physiologiques (cortisone et hydrocortisone) sont des hormones métaboliques essentielles. Les corticoïdes synthétiques, dont la prednisolone, sont utilisés principalement pour leur effet anti-inflammatoire. A forte dose, ils diminuent la réponse immunitaire. Leur effet métabolique et de rétention sodée est moindre que celui de l'hydrocortisone.
